Ingredients enough for 6 to 7 persons:
Breast and thigh of chicken in sauce pieces - 1 kilogram
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped green garlic - 1 bush
Chopped greens - 1 Kg
Juice of unripe grape - 3 to 4 spoons
Eggs - 2
Soaked split pea - half a measure Sour orange juice - one measure
Edible oil Salt and pepper
Recipe :
Heat 4 to 5 spoon oil in pot on moderate fire. Slightly fry the chicken in the hot oil till it becomes slightly yellow. After that take the chicken off by a skimmer and put it aside. Fry the onion in the remained oil till it becomes slightly colored. Add greens and garlic and stir 12 minutes. Add sour orange juice, put the chicken back in to the pot and add the split pea, a bit salt and pepper and reduce the fire. Put the lid on pot and cook the chicken for 30 to 35 minutes. Now break the eggs in a separate bowl mix and add salt. Thereafter pour the egg slowly over the chicken and stir. Let the pot open and increase the fire to allow oil to be separated.
- The sour orange juice can be more or less according to the taste.
- The greens of this food are parsley, coriander, a few dill and a few spearmint or pennyroyal.
